The Principal Chief may remove from office a person appointed by the Principal Chief’s office, except a person appointed for a term fixed by this Constitution or by Osage law. Removal shall be conducted in accordance with Article XII of the Osage Nation Constitution. If the legislature is not in session when the Principal Chief desires to remove an officer, the Principal Chief shall call a special session for consideration of the proposed removal. The session may not exceed two (2) days in duration.
