A. All enrolled members of the Osage Nation are eligible to apply for Osage Nation higher education scholarships.

B. Funds from the Osage Nation Higher Education Scholarship Fund may only be used to fund categories of scholarships set forth in this Act. Additional scholarship categories may be established and funded by amendment of this Act, and appropriation of funds for that purpose.

C. Qualifications for individual scholarships may vary, but must be awarded without consideration to age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion, or geographic location of the applicant or institution.

D. Classes offered by nonaccredited institutions or only to Osage Nation employees during regular working hours do not qualify for general scholarship funding.

E. All Osage Nation higher education scholarship opportunities and all required forms and applications shall be published in a Student Handbook published on the Osage Nation website not later than May 15 of each year for the following calendar school year. ONCA 12-17, eff. Apr. 3, 2012.
