§ 1-305. Service of subpoena.
A. Service of a subpoena upon a person named therein shall be made by delivering or mailing by certified mail (restricted to the person named in the subpoena) a copy thereof to such person at least five days prior to the meeting or hearing (excluding weekends and official tribal holidays). Service of a subpoena may be accomplished by an Osage Nation police officer.
B. A subpoena shall identify the Osage Nation Congress as the legislative body issuing the subpoena and also identify the following, but only as they apply:
1. Date, time, and place of meeting or hearing if a witness is to attend;
2. Date, time, and place books, records, media, correspondence, memorandum, papers, or documents shall be submitted when they are sought;
3. The particular kind of books, records, media, correspondence, memorandum, papers, or documents sought;
4. Specify with particularity the subject of the testimony or information sought. ONCA 07-48, eff. Oct. 3, 2007; ONCA 13-59, eff. July 11, 2013.
