A. The Osage Nation Congress finds that the Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual updated on February 22, 2011, removed the former Section “10” affording all employees the right to due process before termination of employment.

B. The Osage Nation Congress finds that the current Section 11 of the Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual titled “Termination of Employment” specifically refers to an employee’s right to lodge an appeal pursuant to the applicable provisions of due process, but there are no longer any provisions in the Manual for due process.

C. The purpose of this Act is to afford all Osage Nation government employees the right to due process prior to being terminated from employment. ONCA 11-118, eff. Mar. 29, 2012.
