A. Resolutions by the Osage Tribal Council are recognized by the Savings Clause of the Osage Nation Constitution, Article XXII, and remain in full force and effect until amended or repealed by the Osage Nation government. The Osage Nation Congress hereby recognizes the resolutions approved by the 21st Osage Tribal Council and the Department of Interior.

B. Amendments to village constitutions and bylaws required approval by the Osage Tribal Council and the Superintendent. Due to the change in Osage Nation government structure after the 2004 Osage Reaffirmation Act, amendments to village constitutions and bylaws shall be approved by the Osage Nation Congress and signed by the Principal Chief.
