A. The Office of the Secretary of the Nation shall have duties assigned through Osage law.

B. The Secretary of the Nation shall coordinate all activities prescribed by Osage law including, but not limited to, business entity licensing, collection of license fees, maintaining a searchable database of licensed entities and accepting service of process for licensed entities when it is documented that a party is unable to obtain service by mail and process server.

C. The Secretary of the Nation shall coordinate all activities associated with secured transactions in accordance with Osage law including, but not limited to, administering the filing system for financing statements, maintaining a searchable database of security interests and collection of fees associated with filing security interests.

D. The Secretary of the Nation shall monitor and regulate the maintenance and use of the Seal of the Osage Nation.

E. The Secretary shall be responsible for safekeeping of all documents filed through the Secretary, and to coordinate with the Archives Department the archiving of those documents.

F. The Secretary of the Nation shall perform additional duties as delegated by the Principal Chief or prescribed by law. ONCA 11-54, eff. June 12, 2011.
