A. Change orders or addenda to contracts shall not exceed a ten percent (10%) cumulative increase in the original contract amount.

B. Change orders or cumulative change orders which exceed the limits of subsection (A) of this section shall require a re-advertising for bids on the incomplete portions of the contract.

C. All change orders shall be formally approved or disapproved in writing by the Procurement Officer and by the Tribal Development representative. The writing shall state the reasons for disapproval and shall be recorded in the permanent records of the Treasury.

D. If the contract contains unit pricing, and the change order pertains to unit price, the change order shall not be subject to subsection (A) of this section.

E. Alternates or add-on items which were bid in the original bid and awarded in the contract as options of the Procurement Officer shall not be construed as change orders under the provisions of this section.
