A. The following salary and expense allowance is authorized to the named official:

1. Principal Chief.

a. Annual salary of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00);

b. Annual expense allowance of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00) paid in equal pay period installments; and

c. Benefits.

2. Assistant Principal Chief.

a. Annual salary of One Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($115,000.00);

b. Annual expense allowance of Six Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00) paid in equal pay period installments; and

c. Benefits.

3. Speaker of the Osage Congress.

a. Annual salary of Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars ($65,000.00);

b. Annual expense allowance of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) paid in equal pay period installments; and

c. Benefits.

4. Second Speaker of the Osage Nation Congress.

a. Annual salary of Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars ($65,000.00);

b. Annual expense allowance of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) paid in equal pay period installments; and

c. Benefits.

5. Members of the Osage Nation Congress.

a. Annual salary of Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars ($65,000.00); and

b. Benefits.

6. Chief Justice.

a. Contract fees for the administration of the Judicial Branch of Twenty-Four Thousand Dollars ($24,000.00) annually for the term of office;

b. Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per court day for oral arguments;

c. One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per hour for researching and writing opinions not to exceed Twenty-Four Thousand Dollars ($24,000.00) per year;

d. Annual expense allowance not to exceed Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00); and

e. For judicial services required by the Osage Constitution or Osage law that are not related to cases pending before the Supreme Court: One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per hour not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per day.

7. Associate Justices.

a. Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per court day for oral arguments;

b. One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per hour for researching and writing opinions on cases at issue not to exceed Twenty-Four Thousand Dollars ($24,000.00) per year; and

c. Annual expense allowance not to exceed Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00).

8. Chief Trial Judge.

a. Contract fees of Thirty-Six Thousand Dollars ($36,000.00) annually to be paid in equal monthly installments for presiding over the Trial Court of the Osage Nation for three court days per month and for services related to the administration of the Osage Nation Trial Court;

b. Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00) per additional court day when a hearing is scheduled to take place over more than one day;

c. Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per day for telephonic hearings when the judge is off site;

d. One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per hour for researching and writing not to exceed Twenty-Four Thousand Dollars ($24,000.00) per fiscal year for orders on cases when such research and writing takes place outside of a scheduled court day;

e. Annual expenses not to exceed Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00);

f. One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per hour not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per day for:

i. Judicial services required by the Osage Constitution or Osage law that are not related to cases pending before the Trial Court;

ii. Judicial meetings; or

iii. To attend trainings, classes, and seminars necessary to maintain current knowledge in the judicial profession, so long as the trainings, classes, and seminars are relevant to the administration of justice in the Osage Nation Courts and are approved by the Chief Justice of the Osage Nation Supreme Court.

9. Associate Judges.

a. Contract fees of Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00) per court day when matters are docketed and heard;

b. Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per day for telephonic hearings when the judge is off site;

c. One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per hour for researching and writing not to exceed Twenty-Four Thousand Dollars ($24,000.00) per fiscal year for orders on cases when such research and writing takes place outside of a scheduled court day;

d. Annual expenses not to exceed Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00);

e. One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per hour not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per day for:

i. Judicial services required by the Osage Constitution or Osage law that are not related to cases pending before the Trial Court;

ii. Judicial meetings; or

iii. To attend trainings, classes, and seminars necessary to maintain current knowledge in the judicial profession, so long as the training, classes, and seminars are relevant to the administration of justice in the Osage Nation Courts and are approved by the Chief Justice of the Osage Nation Supreme Court.
