The purpose of this Act is to accomplish economy and efficiency by centralizing, in one office, the facilities and personnel available to render legal services to the Nation as requested on behalf of officers, boards, bodies, commissions and instrumentalities of the Nation’s government; and to provide for the enforcement of the civil and criminal laws of the Nation when justice so requires.
