The purpose of this Act is to establish clear parameters of acceptable standards of conduct by government officials, employees, and those who do business with the Osage Nation and to require accountability of elected, appointed, and assigned Osage Nation officials and employees in exercising the authority vested with them as a matter of public trust, and to provide a process for adjudication of ethical violations and penalties as a result thereof, pursuant to Article X, Section 10 of the Constitution of the Osage Nation.
