In addition to any criminal or civil penalties imposed by Osage law, members who are unable to establish that their health account was used for only health and wellness items delineated in this Act may have their accounts suspended, or lose current or previous years’ benefits. Upon conviction of fraud involving use of the benefit, a member may permanently lose the right to access the health benefit. ONCA 18-70, eff. Apr. 25, 2019.
