A. Nothing contained in this Act affects or impairs the power of any Court to appoint a guardian ad litem to defend the interests of any minor interested in any suit or matter pending therein.

B. At any point in a guardianship proceeding, the subject of the proceeding, his or her attorney, the guardian of the subject of the proceeding or anyone interested in the welfare of the subject of the proceeding may file an application to have a guardian ad litem appointed by the Court, or the Court on its own motion may appoint a guardian ad litem. If not precluded by a conflict of interest, a guardian ad litem may be appointed to represent several persons or interests. ONCA 13-34, eff. Apr. 19, 2013.
