When it shall appear to the Court to be to the advantage or best interests of the ward, or wards, to exchange an interest in real estate held by such ward or wards in common with another, or others, for other real estate also held in common by such ward or wards with another or others, to be owned solely by said ward or wards, after such exchange, a guardian of the ward’s estate may be authorized by the Court, after hearing and appraisement, to effectuate such exchange and to give or accept cash in part consideration.
