A. The Osage Nation shall pay each of its employees who in any work week are engaged in the production of goods or services to the Osage Nation and its people a wage at the following rate:

1. Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, not less than the following:

a. Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) an hour beginning on October 1, 2022.

B. Part-time employees shall not earn less than the rate which will provide to the employee, for the period covered by the wage payment, wages equal to compensation at the hourly rate prescribed by subsection (A) of this section for all hours during such period when the employee was working.

C. The Osage Nation is not required to pay the rate prescribed by subsection (A) of this section for internships and work-study programs.

D. The Osage Nation may not take any action to displace employees, including partial displacements such as reduction in hours, wages, or employment benefits, for the purpose of hiring individuals at the wage authorized in subsection (A) of this section.

E. The rate prescribed in subsection (A) of this section shall apply to any initial employment probationary period.

F. Male and female employees shall be paid equally when holding the same employment positions and having the same years of experience in the job. ONCA 11-27, eff. Oct. 1, 2011; ONCA 21-26, eff. Apr. 28, 2021; ONCA 22-37, eff. Apr. 14, 2022.
