No benefits of any nature shall be payable for any worker injury or death when the injury or death arose out of an act of God, unless the employment exposes the worker to a greater risk of injury from an act of God than ordinarily applies to the general public. Further, injury or death which results from a natural cause, i.e., heart attack, stroke or other natural function failure, which does not arise out of the course and scope of employment while the worker was acting in the furtherance of the employer’s interest, shall not be compensable.
