A. The Administrator and worker may negotiate settlement of future medical expenses, income loss, impairment, death benefits and other benefits under this Act that are owed to the worker, or his or her estate. For purposes of settling the future medical expenses, the basis for settlement will be the value of the current and future medical treatment plan. Settlements under this section are not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00).

B. Any settlement issued on behalf of a worker will be properly executed by signed memorandum or release. ONCA 12-76, eff. Oct. 1, 2012.
