A. Drug testing is an important tool used by the Osage Nation to screen job applicants and to assure safety and efficiency in the workplace.

B. The Osage Nation employee handbook describes adverse outcomes based on positive drug test results that if improperly collected or interpreted, could result in job loss, unnecessary treatment or probation.

C. The Osage Nation Congress finds there are formal procedures to ensure proper collection and medical interpretation to protect the government’s employees from the errors related to such drug testing results or interpretation. ONCA 15-97, eff. Oct. 7, 2015.
