§ 2-100. Arresting person for violating traffic regulation; duty of officer arresting.

Whenever any person is detained for the violation of any of the provisions of this Title, the officer detaining such person, except as otherwise provided in any section of this Title shall:
A. Take the name and address of such person;
C. Issue a summons or otherwise notify the person in writing to appear at a time and place to be specified in such summons or notice.
