Every motor vehicle, motorcycle, and all-terrain vehicle shall be equipped with a muffler in good working operation to prevent excessive or unusual noise and annoying smoke, and no person shall use a muffler cut out, bypass or similar device upon a motor vehicle. Any driver who violates this section will be charged with an infraction and penalized with a fine not to exceed Fifty Dollars ($50.00).
