§ 3-104. Construction standards.
This section is included in your selections.
All community safe rooms built under the provisions of this Act shall:
A. Be constructed to standards established in FEMA 361, and designed to withstand EF-5 tornadoes;
B. Be constructed with maintenance-free masonry exteriors;
C. Conform in appearance to the surrounding residential or commercial aesthetic; and
D. Conform to current American with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility standards. ONCA 11-31, eff. Apr. 13, 2011.
