A. Each year that a vehicle is registered pursuant to this chapter, the Tax Commission shall issue a set of two decals to be placed upon the license plate affixed to the registered vehicle. One decal shall bear an abbreviation or numerical representation of the month of expiration of the vehicle registration, and the other shall bear the two digits of the year of expiration. Both decals shall bear the same decal identification number. The decals shall be color coded against their expiration date and shall be made in such a way that it is impossible to remove them from a license plate without destroying them.

B. The Tax Commission may issue a single decal in order to meet the requirements of subsection (A) of this section. ONCA 06-10, eff. Sept. 29, 2006.
