A. An insurance company paying a loss on a vehicle seven model years old or newer where the cost of repairing the vehicle to a roadworthy condition exceeds sixty percent (60%) of its fair market value is required to notify the vehicle owner to surrender the title to the Osage Nation Tax Commission so that it may be a salvage title. The Osage Nation Tax Commission will also be notified by the insurance company.

B. Upon receipt of payment from an insurance company, the owner of the vehicle has thirty (30) days to surrender the certificate of title to the Osage Nation Tax Commission. ONCA 14-38, eff. Apr. 28, 2014.
