A. Any person who willfully aids another in attempting to take his or her own life, in any manner which by the preceding sections would have amounted to aiding suicide if the person assisted had actually taken his or her own life, is guilty of committing the criminal offense of aiding an attempt at suicide.

B. Any person convicted of committing the criminal offense of aiding an attempt at suicide shall be guilty of a crime punishable by imprisonment in the Tribal Jail for not more than one year, or by a fine not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), or by banishment for a period not less than six months nor more than three years, or any combination of the above.
