A. Any person knowingly failing to file an affidavit of all adoption costs and expenses before the final decree of adoption as required by applicable adoption law shall be guilty of committing the criminal offense of failure to file affidavit of adoption costs.

B. Any person convicted of committing the criminal offense of failure to file affidavit of adoption costs shall be guilty of a crime punishable by imprisonment in the Tribal Jail not to exceed one year, or by a fine not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or both.
