§ 2-722. Human trafficking.

A. Any person that commits human trafficking, as defined in this chapter, shall be guilty of committing the criminal offense of human trafficking.
B. Any person convicted of committing the criminal offense of human trafficking shall be guilty of a crime punishable by imprisonment in the Tribal Jail not exceeding three years, or by a fine not exceeding Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00), or both.
C. It is an affirmative defense to prosecution for a criminal offense that, during the time of the alleged commission of the offense, the defendant was a victim of human trafficking. ONCA 22-33, eff. Apr. 25, 2022.
