A. Any person who by force, menace or duress, compels another to marry or to marry any other person, commits the criminal offense of unlawfully compelling a person to marry.

B. Any person convicted of committing the criminal offense of unlawfully compelling a person to marry shall be guilty of a crime punishable by imprisonment in the Tribal Jail not less than ten (10) months and shall not exceed three years.

C. Any person found guilty under this section may be civilly liable to the victim. ONCA 22-33, eff. Apr. 25, 2022.
