A. Any person who with the intent to compel by force, menace or duress to marry, or to marry any other person, commits the criminal offense of unlawful attempt to compel a person to marry.

B. Any person convicted of committing the criminal offense of unlawful attempt to compel a person to marry shall be guilty of a crime punishable by imprisonment in the Tribal Jail not exceeding one year.

C. Any person found guilty under this section may be civilly liable to the victim. ONCA 22-33, eff. Apr. 25, 2022.
