A. In any Court proceeding involving an offense against a crime victim, the Court shall ensure that the crime victim is afforded the rights described in this subchapter. A person accused of the crime may not obtain any form of relief under this subchapter.

B. Before making a determination described in Section 5-503(A)(7), the Court shall make every effort to permit the fullest attendance possible by the victim and consider reasonable alternatives to excluding the victim from the criminal proceeding.

C. The reasons for any decision denying relief under this subchapter shall be clearly stated on the record. ONCA 24-47, eff. Apr. 19, 2024.
