§ 3-102. Definitions.

As used in this Act:
A. “Action” means a proceeding in an Osage Nation court by which one party brings a suit against another.
B. “Village ordinance” means a law submitted by the Pawhuska Indian Village Committee and passed by the Osage Nation Congress that regulates public safety and promotes the general welfare of village residents in the Pawhuska Indian Village.
C. “Village resident” means any person lawfully permitted to reside within the boundaries of the Pawhuska Indian Village. ONCA 14-17, eff. Apr. 28, 2014.
