A. Following a selection process the Commission shall appoint a director of the Osage Veterans Memorial. The director may be a part-time or full-time employee of the Commission and may be employed by employment contract.

B. The Commission shall make the initial decision on the selection and appointment of a candidate for the director of the Osage Veterans Memorial, and provide a written decision regarding the appointment to the Osage Nation Congress.

C. The Osage Nation Congress may deny the Commission’s decision by majority vote. In the case of a denial by the Congress, the selection of a director will be referred back to the Commission for another recommendation. ONCA 11-86, eff. Sept. 29, 2011; ONCA 17-83, eff. June 13, 2017.
