A. The Osage Nation Congress hereby establishes a fund, the Osage Community Regional Gathering Fund, to enhance opportunities for Osage members and their guests to gather together and receive funds up to twice annually to offset expenses of the gathering, including but not limited to renting publicly offered space, audio visual equipment, honorariums for nonemployee speakers, meals and nonalcoholic refreshments, supplies, materials, and other costs of the gathering.

B. A meeting which fulfills the award criteria and is awarded funds shall be identified as an Osage Nation Member Regional Gathering Fund recipient and shall be noticed as an event open to all Osages and their invitees on the Osage Nation website and by other means where Osage members can learn of the event.

C. The grant funds appropriated for this purpose shall be awarded no more than twice annually to regional groups who certify they will meet for the purposes set forth in this Act.

D. Each qualifying organization will be eligible for funds up to a maximum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) per meeting and Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) annually until the total appropriated funds are depleted. Funds are awarded on an as submitted basis and awardees must meet the conditions and qualifications set forth in Section 6-103 of this Title. ONCA 18-23, eff. Apr. 30, 2018.
